Just curious, why are the t-shirts so expensive? Surely you could get a company like epic pants or something to print out a bunch of them at a better cost (and available in more sizes) ? I'd totally buy one, but I can't afford $150 for a shirt...

It's gonna take me some time to gather that. Until then, I bought a pack for a billion less, and wish to thank you for your games. I started computing with them.
I pirated Monkey Island 1 and 2 as a child (I know, shame on me) so I'm trying to make it up by buying the Collector's Edition, the only problem is that I live in Argentina, is there any chance the rewards are shipped internationally?
By the way, just finished hearing Ron Gilbert on the Retronauts podcast and I gotta say, as a hobbyist game designer and programmer, every time I hear him talk about his projects with such passion it really inspires me to go back and continue working on my projects no matter how tired I might be from my other job. Ron, you are really an inspiration and I hope I can ever do a game that is as good as any of yours.

The Xbox version can not be sold directly by us or given away as a reward. Microsoft has no way to support this. I've asked. This works for Steam because Steam will give us keys for free to give to backers. Microsoft doesn't even have a way to buy keys in bulk to give to backers, so even if we wanted to take the hit of paying for our own game, there isn't a way to do it. I wish there was. The iOS App Store has the same issue.

Ahh that's a shame but fair enough. You know what though? I played the original Monkey Islands on the PC (not pirated for the sake of clarity!) so I'm going to go for the fully authentic follow up experience and darn well go ahead and throw my money in the pot now! I love spontaneous decisions :-)

Still today, every time I meet my brother or my sister, usually when we talk we use some citations from your works. Imagine the surprise when we realized that what we considered a somehow private memory was loved by so many people! Imagine the surprise after years, when we found our old floppies and run them through Dosbox and ScummVM.... then the special edition came, then... this! I want to be in it, but I have some questions:
1) I understand that the physical copy of the game will be available in september. Ok, fine. But I think that I will be able to download my digital copy immediately, am I right? 2) I see that is not possible to give as reward the digital copy on the iOS store, but just the digital copy on Steam. Ok, but the copy on Steam will be just for PC, or there will also be the Mac versions? I love when I can buy on steam one game, and then I can play it on both platforms.
PS: Ok, I pirated MI1 in 1990. The first EGA version. Wow. Piracy was part of the pleasure of the whole thing. When I finished the game one year later (no internet, so no solutions available, and I was a kid!) I decided I had to buy it original. I remember the exact moment. It was late night, obviously. Finally I finished the game. And the game suggested me I had to sleep! Wow, hypnotized by that purple flshing text, I told myself "Ok, time to break the porcelain pig..." So i got a CD copy as soon as it was released, with an exceptional CD soundtrack, and in VGA... When I bought it, I even didn't imagine that I found such a gem. Then, recently, I bought through steam the SE. So, I thought I was quite redeemed... But it seems I was wrong. My conscience had to wait for TP... :-)

If it is not translated to Chinese, Ukrainian, Romanian, Greek or Bulgarian, why should it be translated to catalan? They may also translate the game to arapahoe the thing is that they may want to reach the most people using the least languages available, and those languages they picked most probably cover as much population with the least languages they can afford (with just Spanish -2nd spoken language in the world with 410 million people- and English -3rd one with 360-400million- they have covered around 800 million people).
When 4 million people in catalonia won't speak Spanish (it won't take long to achieve that) they may think about translating to catalan, but I'm afraid chinese goes first (1st language spoken in the world with 1.2 Billion) and Ukrainian (30 million), Romanian (24 million), Greek (13 million), Bulgarian (7.8 million)....

@Ron: I've backed on Kickstarter the poster reward. Is it possible to buy that poster via this page (and paypal) *again* to get *two* of the fantastic signed posters? Or the box to get the poster *and* the box? (Please note, that you don't have to "merge" the payments in your Excel spreadsheet this way. Just ship them in separate parcels.)

Currently the only way to pay is via Paypal. It's way too complicated for to accept payments directly. We are going to be changing how we collect pledges around the beginning of the year, and hopefully some new options will become available.
