Woof-woof, arf.

Dan - Jul 06, 2015 at 13:42
Cute dog! Is it a Golden Retriever puppy?

Ron Gilbert - Jul 06, 2015 at 13:46
We got her at the animal shelter. She is part Chihuahua, but they have no idea what the other part is. She and two siblings were found abandon under a freeway overpass.  She's going to be much bigger than a pure Chihuahua, but we have no idea how big.

Mattias Cedervall - Jul 06, 2015 at 14:10
I'm sad that they were found abandon! :-( I'm glad you took her in! I'm proud of you!

Morphez - Jul 07, 2015 at 09:19
Looks really cute, the other part could be a labrador.

Guido - Jul 09, 2015 at 03:33
My grandfather used to tell that  to know how big a dog will be you have to look at it's feet.

There's no reference dimension in the picture, but her feet do look big.

Roberto Cano - Jul 10, 2015 at 11:54
I'm glad you got her. It's really sad when people abandon animals. She will have a good home now and people to take care of her.

By the way, if she starts saying: "Polly wants a cookie", she may be half parrot. Just saying!

Dan - Jul 06, 2015 at 13:57
I'm sure she's in best hands from now on!

Zombocast - Jul 06, 2015 at 13:59
Baloon animals are much easier to clean up after. ° Ransom the clown.

Mattias Cedervall - Jul 06, 2015 at 14:08

Lennart - Jul 06, 2015 at 14:14
The missing game related blog post and the dog both invoke the same reaction in me... Oooowww! :-)

Anthony - Jul 06, 2015 at 14:45
SPOILER ALERT:

Natalija - Jul 06, 2015 at 15:13

Ron Gilbert - Jul 06, 2015 at 15:19
Pep is the name of Putt-Putts dog.

Pablo - Jul 06, 2015 at 15:16

Natalija - Jul 06, 2015 at 15:17

Ron Gilbert - Jul 06, 2015 at 15:19

Malc - Jul 06, 2015 at 16:15
Use balloon animal on dog.

Damian - Jul 06, 2015 at 16:33
Cute!
I also like the name. But still think "Fleafood Mac" was better. :P

Hello doggie!
if a good dog would chuck good bones, how much bones could a good dog chuck?

Mattias Cedervall - Jul 06, 2015 at 21:24
I think everyone should take a look at this guy's nice suggestion for a Star Wars-themed point and click adventure game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzHNhA7KWp0

There are too many stray and abandoned pets! Spay or neuter your pets, and if you are willing to be a responsible pet owner, please consider adopting from your local shelter.

MarcusG - Jul 07, 2015 at 02:51
Kickstarter Millions? Check!
Puzzle Dependency Chart? Check!
Cute little puppy mascot? Check!

That's it. The game's practically gonna write itself from now on.

You are going to have her for a long time, smaller breeds like that easily live for 15 years or more.
Which is excellent of course. Provided she's a nice dog.
What does your wife say to you picking up stray dogs? :-)

Jammet - Jul 07, 2015 at 05:26
Sooo --  since Spiffy might not be in *this* adventure game, Ron, are there any other animals in here? :) Doesn't have to be a talking dog, but I wonder if there's any bird, or a cat, or a dog, even if it's non-interactive. Just for fun!

Tom - Jul 07, 2015 at 08:16
i see this heading into a three headed monster dog puzzle...

Iron Curtain - Jul 07, 2015 at 17:06
Like the greek myth Cerberus, right?

Alex - Jul 07, 2015 at 12:47
Spanky?

Steffen - Jul 07, 2015 at 13:12
Will she maybe play a role in the game? I think she should. You always need dogs in games (piranha poodles) and pep is a dog and this will be a game. All games are better with dogs.

Anthony - Jul 07, 2015 at 18:10

Most of my friends get a new puppy in these days... do you feel lonely guys???  Lonely women gets a kitten, Lonely man gets a puppy. My grand-grand-grandma used to say:  "Grandma didnt have any worries, so she went and bought a pig!"  "o)

(p.s. I have african grey parrot)

dada - Jul 08, 2015 at 12:00

Completely unrelated question... Just was reading through www.grumpygamer.com and was wondering if you are keeping any old fashion notebooks or scribbles of your designer notes this time around? That'll allow you to publish some epic screenshots (VR holograms?!) in 20 years when people are reminiscing the good ol' 2015 golden adventure game years

Of course have to be careful Pep doesn't get her paws on them!
