It's a podcast. About Thimbleweed Park. It's the 56th one. You don't need to know anything more.

You can also subscribe to the Thimbleweed Park Podcast RSS feed if that's 'your thing'.

You can also get the podcast directly from iTunes.

There is an "It" remake in the works. So from Krusty to Pennywise, how unlikeable can Ransom be?

The Man who feared slugs - Jul 17, 2016 at 11:37
I hate and fear clowns. I dont know whether it is theor resemblence to corpses (being pale white and all). Or maybe it is just because that clown from "IT" that made me fear clowns.

And never dress as a clown and hang around tunnels at night, just starring out in the dark. Some as***le did that once, I almost got a hear attack.

Mattias Cedervall - Jul 17, 2016 at 19:40
I'm pale white, but alive. For now. Just staring is harmless. Have you seen these clowns scaring people? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WHZPEkZCqwA

Mattias Cedervall - Jul 17, 2016 at 19:42
PS. Which do you fear most? Clowns or slugs? Slugs dressed as clowns?

Arto - Jul 17, 2016 at 11:42
Ah, so what we are seeing in the "Eyes" blog post's animation is a transition between 2nd and 3rd act. You know, the blink.
If it was Reyes, I guess he would be burbing then.

longuist - Jul 17, 2016 at 12:20
I want to believe. But i need to know where the missing podcast is.

Bogdan Barbu - Jul 18, 2016 at 05:09
Unless you're talking about much older podcasts, there wasn't one. In #55, they announced there'd be no podcast the following week and since it was one week late...

longuist - Jul 18, 2016 at 13:30
46

Andrew - Jul 19, 2016 at 01:49
Maybe, the missing podcast can be found within the game...

Bogdan Barbu - Jul 19, 2016 at 09:26
I'm not sure whether the numbers reflect this but there's certainly more than one podcast that was recorded and never published.

Mattias Cedervall - Jul 17, 2016 at 19:36
It's not an issue because people shouldn't like Ransome!

R.C.M. - Jul 17, 2016 at 19:37
"Nice Ransome' option plz

But seriously though, it'll be interesting to see just how much of an ***hole he really is. Should be fun!

Bogdan Barbu - Jul 18, 2016 at 03:54
First.

Bogdan Barbu - Jul 18, 2016 at 07:38
Ron, I keep seeing tweets about Jenn's edible board game. Sounds interesting. Can we get some info on that? :D

Diego - Jul 18, 2016 at 10:28
Ron, have you already started the translation to other languages? who is going to translate the game into spanish? I remember ERBE SOFTWARE did the translation of Lucasfilms/Lucasarts games...

Zak Phoenix McKracken - Jul 20, 2016 at 05:04
Hello Diego,
According to the roadmap, translations should start from October.

Alfred - Jul 18, 2016 at 17:18
I just binged on the podcasts, and I'm all caught up. This is a really cool idea - I wish I had kept up with it in real time. :) You and your team are doing great work! I'm super excited for this game!!! :)

Arto - Jul 18, 2016 at 17:41
There is a rumor that there will be a 1-800-RANSOME hintline (I just started that rumor here).
If there would be such a hintline, would there be profanities,  like "Just go to that #*@&% grate and *#€&$€ use the €%!"*€$* chainsaw with the *€%#€£$$*! line from the *€%#€"!$¢..."?
And if so, would the profanities be audible, or would those be beeped?

Gffp - Jul 19, 2016 at 07:02
Due to my increased curiosity about the game, I started to take a look at the Ron's Twitter page. Oh oh oh what beautiful surprises await m....

Please Ron, say to people that drawing LeChuck by injecting ink with needles in the side of their hairy bottoms is not the right way to say Thank You to you.

Please.

:-P

Obviously I was just kidding, that guy was kind.

I'm glad to hear David Fox, master of mazes :-p, agrees to a puzzle that solves the maze for you.

If I can say, when I wrote about the maze in Indy 3, I criticicized mostly the loss of orientation(probably due to lack of light). The puzzles in the maze where not bad (I played it years after). Infact I remember that in the fate of Atlantis I didn't find so bad the maze under Atlantis.
That's all. Bye ThimbleTeam read you soon.

Gffp - Jul 21, 2016 at 07:59
Hi guys, I found on the internet the FM-Towns version of Indy 3 (and an excellent patch to translate it with the official italian translation that has been also optimized!!!).

Obviously I played it and in the catacombs the feel I had was different mostly thanks to the music! It accompanies you towards the right pathway, and its quality really substitutes the lack of view!! I completed my pathway in less than twenty minutes! (I had a way way way better sense of orientation and ability to read maps, now at my age).

FM-Towns music is simply astounding.

Listen to minute 5.00 of this video and tell me if you ever listened to such a quality, movie included. What a wonderful transcription!

I'm wondering how's it going the music for TWP.

Zak Phoenix McKracken - Jul 22, 2016 at 08:00
Undoubtely, FM Towns reminds me the original Indiana Jones movie!

Big Red Button - Jul 24, 2016 at 09:44
How could it not. This is the original irreformable instrumental score by John Williams - except for the last part.

A CD-ROM version from 1990. That's impressive! The FM Towns must therefore have been ahead of the times back then, because, to my knowledge, CD-ROM versions for the PC weren't published on a grand scale until 1993 (see DOTT and Rebel Assault), after the sales volume of CD-ROM drives had increased significantly. A few PC users were proud of their sound card, all the others only had their humble PC speaker. Even the C64 sounded better than an average PC.

Zuckerberg - Jul 24, 2016 at 07:56
Please elaborate on "I found on the internet"... What do you mean, and if that's different, what is the proper (legal) way to get/play the FM towns version.

Nor Treblig - Jul 24, 2016 at 08:49
The proper way is to acquire a second-hand copy e.g. via eBay, like he did. What did you think?
Btw. as far as I know the FM-Towns version is graphically exactly the same as the DOS VGA version and only sounds and music are different.
The Steam version seems to be the VGA version without those music tracks. Sadly there is no GOG release :-(

Gffp - Jul 24, 2016 at 16:54
Thank you Nor, you took the words right out of my mouth :-P

hoerry - Jul 19, 2016 at 15:33
When it comes to mazes, David Fox is amazing.

longuist - Jul 19, 2016 at 16:38
Amusing :D

Zak Phoenix McKracken - Jul 20, 2016 at 05:08
That 'I'll make it an option' thing is slipping through our fingers.
How many options we have so far?

longuist - Jul 20, 2016 at 08:09
Welcome back. Guess there need to be an option to show, sort and hide all options.

Zak Phoenix McKracken - Jul 20, 2016 at 17:28
Ahah thank you!
I imagine a check box labeled "Big Whoop Options"... if checked, it appears a new page full with a lot of options!!

Arto - Jul 21, 2016 at 06:17
"Enjoy over 100 hours of gameplay in Optionsland, where you will have an option to choose from thousands of exciting options, and test their effect in build-in adventure".

Ema - Jul 21, 2016 at 13:45
AN OPTION TO TOGGLE OPTIONS!! delightful...

Zak Phoenix McKracken - Jul 22, 2016 at 14:42
